What Can I Store In My Safe Deposit Box?
You can store anything that will fit into your Safe Deposit Box. The contents are not checked and you are not filmed or supervised adding anything. You may not store anything obtained illegally or of an illegal nature. Typical items such as cash, jewellery, precious metals, wills, deeds, stamps, passports, antiques, confidential papers, data devices, heirlooms or anything that is of value to you.
How Do I Get A Safe Deposit Box?
To get access to a Safe Deposit Box you will be required to provide the following:
1. Proof of Identity – Passport or Driving Licence
2. Proof of Address – Current household bills (Gas, Electricity, Water or Council Bill) current bank statement or credit card agreement.
DEPOSIT BOX Access Times?
The Deposit Box Access is available at a different time compared to the Office opening times:
Monday to Friday 10.00am to 5.45pm
Saturday 10.00am to 3.45pm
Sunday and public holidays
12.00pm to 3.45pm
What About Insurance On The Items In My Safe Deposit Box?
You can obtain £10,000 complimentary Insurance via Noble Security Box Insurance company for the first 12 months only. You would have to signup for this service to be entitled. As Zurich Safe Deposits does not supply Insurance for your valuable directly.
OFFICE Opening Times?
The Office (Our Locations) are opened at a different time compared to the Vault opening times:
Weekdays 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
Saturday 10.00 am – 4.00 pm
Sunday 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm
Bank Holidays, Public Holidays 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm
Can Other People Access My Safe Deposit Box?
Nobody at the Safe Deposit Centre can open your box. Your key to your box is UNIQUE and is for the sole use of the account holder. You can nominate one other person to have access to your Safe Deposit box. He/She will have to register with two forms of ID. Nobody at Zurich Safe Deposits can open you box. You will only be issued with a SET of two unique keys. Either person/or together can access the vault, as long as you have brought along the key, you will be given access to your Safe Deposit Box.
What If I Lose My Key?
If you lose your key then the only access into your Safe Deposit Box will be via the services of a locksmith who will in your presence replace the locking system of your box and issue a new key. You will lose your deposit and need to lodge a new deposit with us.
